is a database containing information on the district of Dadu, situated
between 26' - 44' north latitude and 67' - 49' east longitudes in
the province of Sindh. The site provides comprehensive information
on the history, geography, culture and various other aspects of
the district. Sindh Bureau of Statistics
has been releasing Development Statistics of Sindh since its inception
in 1971. Present issue is the latest brought out by the bureau.
It contains information on Climate, Population, Housing, National
Accounts, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Mining, Electricity & Gas,

& health etc. sectors. Drought Situation
in Pakistan: As the name suggests, the site highlights the critical
drought situation in Pakistan. This site is created to link the
relief activities of donors, government and civil society organizations
so as to create a synergy of humanitarian help; the help which is

the reader in-depth information about all the departments working
in the province of Sindh. Kirthar National
Park Kirthar Park is a protected area, which is situated in
Sindh. Large number of mammals, reptiles and various species of
birds reside in this park. The presence of Rammikot fort and various
archaeological sites is also of significant importance. The site
is highly informative. Moenjodaro Moenjodaro
was one of the great cities of the Indus Valley civilization that
flourished some 4,000 years ago. Today the remains of what was the
world's oldest planned city can be found in the Sindh province of

Society (ALWS) is a non-political, non-sectarian, non-commercial
organization and non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting
basic education for females in the rural areas of Sindh FreeSindh.Org
The site is a comprehensive knowledge base about Sindh and Sindhis.
Extensive local information is provided under categories ranging
from history, culture, education, and environment right up to research
papers and resource pages. Other links on this site include maps
& pictures and Sindhi book catalogs. Thal Welfare Organization
Thal Welfare Organization (TWO) is a rural development organization
working in district Layyah of southern Punjab. This website outlines
its introduction and objectives. An overview of the various health
activities is presented here; including a women's skill enhancement
center, agriculture extension services and a resource center for
the rural community provided by the organization. Future plans and
relevant contact information is also available on this site. The Urban Resource
Centre (URC) was established in January 1989 by students and
interested faculty members at the Department of Architecture Planning
(DAP) at the Dawood College in Karachi and staff members of the
Orangi Pilot Project (OPP). The original aim of the URC was to provide
a forum where students and graduates from the DAP could continue
their involvement and interest in the urban issues of Karachi in
