Executive and Revenue System
The district is under the charge of a Deputy Commissioner
who performs the functions of the District Magistrate as well
as Collector. He is also responsible for the coordination
of functions of all nation building departments in the district.
On the judicial side he is assisted by an Additional District
Magistrate, two Assistant Commissioners/Sub Divisional Magistrate
and four Mukhtiarkars/First Class Magistrates.
Police Department
The Police administration is vested in the Superintendent
of Police. One Deputy Superintendent of Police at Mithi sub-division
one Sub-Divisional Police Officer at Chachro subdivision,
four Police Stations one at each taluka headquarters.
Judiciary
The judicial administration is under the control of District
and Session Judge. Under him is one Additional Session Judge,
the Senior Civil Judge, one Civil Judge and four Judicial
Magistrates, nominated one in each taluka.
